Five are in the base game; Vault 88 requires the Vault-Tec Workshop add-on, and Vault 118 is part of Far Harbor.
Use the landmarks below to identify each Vault and its broad region. These are orientation points, not turn-by-turn entrance directions; check the in-game map and quest context as you explore.

Vault 75
Vault 75 is at Malden Middle School in Malden. The school is the broad landmark to look for; verify the precise route to the Vault entrance in-game.
Vault 81
Vault 81 is in the Boston / Commonwealth area. It is a separate populated Vault location. Confirm its map marker and approach in-game rather than relying on unverified directions.

Vault 95
Vault 95 is southeast of Natick. Use Natick as a general point of orientation, then check the map for the exact marker.
Vault 111
Vault 111 is near Sanctuary Hills in the northwest Commonwealth. It is the opening Vault, and the Sole Survivor emerges from it at the start of the game. The Vault was designed around long-term cryonic stasis.

Vault 114
Vault 114 is in Boston. The available location information establishes the broad region, but not a reliable entrance route; consult the in-game map and relevant quest context.
Vaults that require add-ons
Vault 88: Vault-Tec Workshop
Vault 88 is northwest of Quincy and requires the Vault-Tec Workshop add-on. If you have only the base game, this Vault is not available to you.

Vault 118: Far Harbor
Vault 118 is in the Far Harbor area and requires the Far Harbor add-on. It is separate from the Commonwealth Vault locations.
