Opening a page did not automatically grant everything on it. Embark announced that the October 8, 2026 Frozen Trail update would replace new Decks with a 60-level Reward Pass and add a free Legacy Reward Pass for older Deck rewards. Those changes were announced as of October 4, 2026; their live status after launch is not established here.
How the original Raider Decks worked
A Raider Deck presented rewards across multiple pages. Players spent Cred to claim individual items they wanted. Spending a specified amount opened later pages, where more rewards could be claimed. The exact costs and thresholds varied, so the system was not simply an XP bar that awarded every item automatically.
Cred and Raider Tokens were separate currencies. Cred was the currency used to claim rewards and meet page-unlock spending thresholds in the old Deck system. Embark’s support disclosure says Raider Tokens could be used for Decks, bundles, and cosmetic items including outfits, backpacks, charms, emotes, and Scrappy outfits (Embark Studios Help Center: Disclosures).
A dated example of a Deck
A walkthrough updated December 16, 2025 described the Ryder & Voyager Deck as six pages containing 36 rewards. It reported a total cost of 2,190 Cred and a final reward of 250 Raider Tokens. Those figures illustrate that particular Deck as reported at that time; they are not universal costs or rules for every Raider Deck (All Things How, December 16, 2025).

What Raider Decks offered
Embark’s original description of the system said gameplay items would be limited to free Raider Decks, while premium Decks would focus on cosmetics and convenience. The kinds of cosmetic goods associated with the economy included outfits, backpacks, charms, emotes, and Scrappy outfits. That was the original Deck model; it should not be confused with the Reward Pass structure announced later.
Because each Deck had its own rewards and costs, a single old Deck’s inventory is not a reliable guide to what another Deck contained. The Ryder & Voyager example above is a dated snapshot, not a current universal catalog.

What changes with the Frozen Trail Reward Pass
In September 2026, Embark announced Reward Passes as the new progression mechanic for Frozen Trail, scheduled for October 8, 2026. The announcement describes a 60-level pass with Free and Premium tracks, plus a separate free Legacy Reward Pass that brings together cosmetics and Raider Tokens from prior Decks. Embark said rewards a player had already earned would remain unlocked in Legacy, while progression could earn rewards they had missed (Embark Studios: Reward Passes, explained).

These are announced product contents and quantities, not confirmation of what was live after the scheduled launch. In particular, Embark’s announced Premium price and maximum token reward match at 1,150; the statement that completing the pass returns its cost depends on the announced contents and price remaining as described.

Why Embark changed the progression system
Embark said players accumulated Cred quickly enough to finish each new Deck immediately. In its view, that weakened the incentive to keep completing Feats. The new Reward Passes were announced as tied to the update they release with, with progress earned through Feat completion, rather than the old model of spending Cred on rewards and page access.
The practical distinction is that the legacy system let players choose purchases from an opened page, while the announced pass system connects progression to Feats and level-based rewards. The Legacy Reward Pass is the bridge for previous Deck rewards; it is distinct from the new Frozen Trail Premium Pass.

Does the Premium Pass include gameplay advantages?
According to Embark’s announcement, gameplay-benefiting weapons and gadgets are in the Free Pass, not the Premium Pass. The Premium track was described as adding cosmetic customization and Raider Tokens. On that stated division, paying for Premium is not presented as a way to buy the announced gameplay items.
Embark also announced a Frozen Trail Collector Set DLC containing Premium Pass access, 2,400 Raider Tokens, the Renzo cosmetic set, Dragon’s Breath Weapon Stencil, Bob Hair Style, an exclusive Retro Sofa, and the only way to get a blueprint for the Banjo musical instrument. Those are the announced DLC contents; they are separate from the free Legacy Reward Pass.

What to check if you are returning to ARC Raiders
- For old Deck rewards: Look for the Legacy Reward Pass rather than assuming the old Cred-purchase pages are still the progression system.
- For gameplay items: Embark announced weapons and gadgets for the Free Pass, not the Premium Pass.
- For premium cosmetics: The announced Premium Pass price was 1,150 Raider Tokens, with up to that amount among its rewards if completed.
- For launch status: Frozen Trail was scheduled for October 8, 2026. The available announcement predates that date, so confirm the in-game system for current post-launch details.
