Search Medical loot areas for Cracked Bioscanners; the Testing Annex on Dam Battlegrounds is a suggested place to look, not a guaranteed spawn. You need two Cracked Bioscanners, five Durable Cloth, and eight Tick Pod to upgrade the Medical Lab to level 2.
Where to find Cracked Bioscanners
Cracked Bioscanners are rare, recyclable loot associated with Medical areas. Search containers and loot locations marked Medical as you scavenge.
Testing Annex on Dam Battlegrounds
Third-party guides recommend the Testing Annex as a place to search for Cracked Bioscanners. Treat it as a target, not a fixed spawn: available references do not establish a guaranteed appearance or a verified drop rate. Loot can vary from run to run.
Medical Lab level 2 requirements
The listed materials for the upgrade are:
- 2 Cracked Bioscanners
- 5 Durable Cloth
- 8 Tick Pod
Keep the two Cracked Bioscanners you need for the upgrade rather than recycling them. Check the Medical Lab upgrade screen in-game before spending materials, since requirements may change with updates.
#1 Best Overall
Cracked Bioscanner value and recycling
ARC Raiders Hub lists the item at 2.0 kg, with a stack size of 3 and a sell price of 1,000. Its database says full recycling is available in Speranza and that in-raid recycling returns 50% of components. These are third-party database values and mechanics, not an official guarantee; verify them in-game if they affect your decision.
Item references do not consistently agree on the exact components returned by recycling or salvaging, so do not rely on a specific component yield without checking the current in-game result.
