When did Black Ops 6 Season 3 start?
Activision scheduled Black Ops 6 Season 03 for April 2, 2025, at 9AM PT. Multiplayer, Zombies and the season’s general content became available then. The launch announcement also included a 24-hour free trial of Multiplayer and Zombies during the countdown. Activision’s Season 03 announcement is dated March 27, 2025.
The premium game’s Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies are distinct from Warzone, the free-to-play battle royale. Activision lists Black Ops 6 for PlayStation, Xbox and Windows; that product listing does not mean buying Black Ops 6 is required to play Warzone. When did Verdansk return to Warzone?
Warzone was scheduled to go offline for 24 hours after the Black Ops 6 Season 03 launch, then return with Verdansk on April 3, 2025, at 9AM PT. That was the Warzone-specific launch date; it was one day later than the season launch for Black Ops 6. Activision described the return as Verdansk’s first availability since December 2021. No. Activision described Verdansk as rebuilt from the ground up and highlighted adjustments intended to preserve its familiar setting while changing how it plays and reads. The announcement described a back-to-basics approach, not an untouched copy.
- Traversal: Routes and movement through the map were adjusted.
- Coastline: The southern coastline became newly accessible.
- Visibility: Map and interior visibility were improved, including changes to lighting.
- Gameplay: The return combined familiar mechanics with quality-of-life updates.
Activision described the map experience as supporting 150 players and advertised 20 free rewards for the launch event. Those are details about the announced game content, not evidence of actual player counts, popularity or commercial performance.

Is Roze returning, or is R0-Z3 the same Operator?
The official Season 03 announcement names R0-Z3 as a BlackCell Operator and says she leads the season’s BlackCell content. It does not identify R0-Z3 as the legacy Roze Operator, nor does it confirm that the Roze skin or Operator would return.
The Roze mention in Activision’s separate Verdansk article concerns visibility, not a skin release. The article says interior lighting was adjusted, “minimizing the advantage of hiding in dark corners wearing a Roze skin.” That is an official reference to the legacy skin’s reputation in dark interiors; it is not confirmation that the skin was coming back. The wording appears in the Verdansk return article.

Season 03 Reloaded was announced for May 1, 2025, at 9AM PT, as a later update rather than part of the April 3 map launch. Activision’s update announcement listed a moving train, High Value Loot Zones, Ranked Play and limited-time modes among the Verdansk additions. What did Black Ops 6 Season 03 include?
Activision’s season announcement summarized the planned Multiplayer additions as five maps and one map variant, alongside six new weapons. These are announced content counts, not measures of how many players used the content or how well the season performed.
