When was Best Buy’s confirmed Switch 2 event?
Best Buy announced on May 29, 2025, that nearly all of its U.S. stores would open at 12:01 a.m. ET on Thursday, June 5, 2025. The opening was for preorder pickup and limited walk-in sales of consoles, games, and accessories—not a future restock announcement. Best Buy’s launch announcement also gave the equivalent local times as 11:01 p.m. CT, 10:01 p.m. MT, and 9:01 p.m. PT on June 4.
