What is Elsewhere Entertainment?
Elsewhere Entertainment is a new internal Activision game-development studio. Activision described its goal as “creating a new narrative-based and genre-defining AAA franchise” in its May 16, 2024 announcement. The announcement does not identify a specific game or say that the project belongs to an existing Activision series.
Where is the studio located?
Activision’s announcement says the studio is headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, and has additional resources in the United States. Separately, Activision’s studio directory lists Elsewhere Studios in Warsaw and Malmö, Sweden. The directory does not explain how the Malmö listing relates to the U.S. resources mentioned in the announcement, so the locations should not be treated as interchangeable.
What game is Elsewhere making?
Activision has announced only the broad direction: a new narrative-based AAA franchise. The cited announcement gives no game title, platforms, release date, or more specific genre. It also does not establish that the project is a Call of Duty game or a continuation of another existing franchise.

What experience does the team bring?
Activision says members of the team have credits on The Last of Us, Uncharted, The Witcher, Cyberpunk, Destiny, Tom Clancy’s The Division, and Far Cry. These are team credits cited by the company; they do not mean those games share a project with Elsewhere or that the studio is making a sequel.

An Activision careers listing for a Lead Level Designer in Warsaw names Elsewhere and a new IP. That is a recruiting signal related to the project, not a complete account of the studio’s staffing or a guarantee that the role remains open.
