How the Clorthax quest worked
Players solved ten clues in sequence, starting with Guitar Billionaire. Each clue pointed to a Steam store category, where the fictional entry could be found through the “GO FIND IT!” route. The Steam Community guide says these entries were not discoverable using the regular store search bar; Gamepur notes that buying them was not required.

The quest was part of Steam’s 2022 Summer Sale. Steam announced that the sale ran through July 7, 2022, at 10 a.m. PT, and described the Clorthax event as involving “trading cards, badges, and good old-fashioned funny business.” Steam’s announcement, Gamepur’s clue walkthrough, and the Steam Community guide document the event and answers.
