EA SPORTS FC 26 launched worldwide on September 26, 2025, and its announced pre-order deadlines have passed. The Ultimate Edition offered early access, FC Points and extra content; the Standard Edition had a smaller set of bonuses. Some rewards depended on ordering by August 26, 2025, and Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and physical pre-orders had exclusions. A new purchase should not be assumed to include expired pre-order bonuses.
What were the EA FC 26 pre-order bonuses?
EA’s announced offers combined edition content with rewards available only to qualifying pre-orders. The FC 25 rewards required ordering by August 26, 2025; EA’s edition details also excluded FC 25 content from Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 offers and physical pre-orders. EA’s release and edition details describe the original terms.

Ultimate Edition pre-order rewards

These were time-limited offers, not bonuses guaranteed with a later purchase.
Standard Edition pre-order reward

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Did physical copies and Nintendo versions get the same bonuses?
No. EA said pre-order offers for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and physical versions did not include the FC 25 content. The Standard Edition’s FC 25 ICON was also explicitly excluded on Switch and Switch 2. The Ultimate Edition’s FC Points maximum was lower on Switch and Switch 2: up to 4,500 rather than up to 6,000. Do not assume every platform or format had identical entitlements.

What were the release and early-access dates?
EA announced a worldwide FC 26 release date of September 26, 2025, with Ultimate Edition access starting September 19. EA Play separately offered a 10-hour early-access trial from September 19, 2025; this was a time-limited subscription trial. EA’s platform list included PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Its press release also listed Amazon Luna. See EA’s launch announcement for the trial and platform information.
Is the FC 26 Ultimate Edition worth it now?
The original Ultimate Edition offer had advantages over Standard for players who wanted earlier access, the Premium Pass, more FC Points and the additional FUT Evolution slot. But those access dates and pre-order rewards are historical. Current prices, retailer stock and platform-specific SKU availability are not established here, so a present-day value comparison cannot be made from the announced launch benefits alone. Check the specific listing’s platform and included entitlements before buying; do not count an expired pre-order reward as part of its value.
