ARC Raiders players were reported using a duplication exploit to spam Trigger ‘Nades in early 2026, but the available evidence does not verify that the grenade glitch is active now. Embark listed fixes for item and ammo duplication in January, and a February report said the studio deployed an additional hotfix after grenade spam was seen.
What happened with the grenade duplication glitch?
In February 2026, PC Gamer reported that players were using an item-duplication exploit to send Trigger ‘Nades down an elevator shaft. Embark said it had squashed the item-duplication bug with an additional hotfix. That reporting documents an example of throwable spam; it does not establish how often the exploit appeared across matches or the player base. PC Gamer’s February 10 report
Did Embark patch it?
Embark’s January 27, 2026 update notes listed fixes for an item-duplication exploit and an ammo-duplication exploit. They also separately listed a fix for some cases where players could damage others from behind geometry. The notes confirm duplication fixes, while PC Gamer’s later report supplies the account of the additional February hotfix tied to the grenade incident.
In February, GamesRadar described Embark’s response to the earlier exploit as stemming from a design flaw and reported graduated enforcement: warnings, removal of exploit-linked currency, and suspensions for more serious impact. GamesRadar’s February 18 report

Is the grenade dupe still working?
As of October 7, 2026, the reviewed official updates and reporting do not establish that this specific grenade-duplication exploit is active. Nor do later general anti-cheat statements prove that it has returned or that every possible variant is fixed.
Embark’s June 16 Live Update 1.33.0 said the team was continuing to address item duplication and take strict measures against accounts involved. The notes also mention a Trigger ‘Nade throw-animation issue, but an animation issue is not evidence of a duplication exploit. Embark’s June 16 update
In a September 30 statement, Embark described ongoing cheat detection and blocking, including Denuvo Anti-Cheat, Anybrain detections, and in-house models, as well as an appeals process with human review. - Confirmed: Embark later described continuing anti-duplication and anti-cheat work.
- Not established: Whether the specific grenade exploit is working now, how many players used it, or what share of matches it affected. No reliable grenade-specific prevalence figure is available.
- Not the same issue: The Trigger ‘Nade throw-animation issue listed in June does not show that items were being duplicated.
A community discussion used the phrase “Basically infinite grenade spam,” but that is anecdotal language, not a representative survey or a measure of how common the exploit was. Community discussion
