Hanx101 Trivia was an Apple Arcade game announced on August 30, 2022, with a September 2 launch planned. It is no longer available on the service: the game’s official page says it left Apple Arcade on July 31, 2025. [Apple’s announcement; official game page]
What was Hanx101 Trivia?
Hanx101 Trivia was a digital trivia game announced by Jennifer Fan for BlueLine Studios. Apple described it as an Apple Arcade exclusive for iOS, macOS and tvOS, and as the platform’s first trivia offering at the time of its announcement. The announcement’s headline phrased its name as “Hanx 101 Trivia”; the official game page uses “Hanx101 Trivia.” [Apple’s announcement]
Apple Arcade is Apple’s subscription service for premium games across Apple devices. Apple says its games have no ads or in-app purchases and that a subscription can be shared with up to six family members; that general service description does not change Hanx101 Trivia’s discontinued status. What did the game offer?
According to the official launch announcement, the game combined a structured solo quiz with competitive play and a large question pool. These are publisher descriptions, not independent findings about gameplay quality or the exact size of the live question bank.

- Package Quantity :1
- In contrast to traditional trivia formats, you don't receive points for answering questions correctly. Instead, points are subtracted for every incorrect answer!

- An addictively entertaining trivia game where it will only be a matter of time before you hear yourself say ahhh!... I should have known that!
- Hanx101 mode: a solo path built around 101 trivia questions.
- Multiplayer: head-to-head matches and team competition.
- Wildcards: an additional gameplay feature listed in the announcement.
- Question topics: history, math, geography and food were among the subjects.
- Question pool: the announcement described tens of thousands of trivia questions and promised a fun fact with each play.
When did Hanx101 Trivia come out?
Jennifer Fan’s announcement for BlueLine Studios was published August 30, 2022, and said the game was launching September 2. Apple’s news index displays the launch post with a 2021-09-02 date, which conflicts with the dated announcement and its stated 2022 launch plan; the announcement’s own date and planned launch date are the clearest evidence for when it was announced and due to arrive. Is Hanx101 Trivia still on Apple Arcade?
No. The official game page states: “Hanx101 Trivia will no longer be available on Apple Arcade as of July 31st 2025.” It should therefore not be described as a game that new or existing subscribers can currently play through the service. [official game page]

- TRIVIA FOR EVERYONE: NEW! UPDATED FOR 2026. Unique to Amazon, we’ve created a game for both trivia and non-trivia people alike. We’ve taken feedback from people that both love and hate trivia, designing a game with classical general knowledge questions, like “How many hearts does an Octopus have?” and fun entertaining questions like “Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?” Questions are meticulously curated so subject matter is suitable for adults, teens, and families.
- 1500+ QUESTIONS: While most other Amazon quiz games have a paltry 400-500 questions, we supercharge the fun with over 1500 questions spanning an incredibly large array of topics! Trivia For Everyone contains 190 cards with 1520 questions, requires 2 or more players, and is suitable for those 14 years and older.
- 2 DIFFICULTIES: Unlike other Amazon trivia games that have one level of difficulty, we provide 2! Party Mode is for more accessible questions with lower difficulty and Expert Mode covers more obscure and challenging topics. Trivia for Everyone allows you to play the game the way you want to!
- 3 WAYS TO PLAY: Rather than just having one set way to play like most Amazon games, Trivia for Everyone includes three different modes of play. Free-For-All is designed for fast, competitive play. Question Master is more suited for relaxed play that can take place while socializing. Teams allows you to combine with your friends in a group to take out the competition.
- INNOVATIVE CARD DESIGN: Unlike other Amazon card games which use drab cards that spoil the answer for the reader, we’ve engineered beautiful multi-colored cards that don’t immediately give away the answer and allow for smooth play. It’s simple. Easier questions are in blue; their answers are on the other side of the card, also in blue. Harder questions are in red; their answers are on the other side of the card, also in red. No learning curve required!
Was there a physical edition or a required controller?
The official announcement and game page establish it as a digital Apple Arcade game, but do not establish a physical edition or a required controller or other accessory. They also do not substantiate another current platform or a way to obtain the game after its removal.
