To find all 10 rare vehicles listed in Insider Gaming’s guide, first unlock the Commandeer skill, then search the districts and landmarks below. Driving every listed vehicle is associated with the silver Hidden in the Hood achievement or trophy. The locations here are area-level rather than exact map pins, and third-party guides disagree on some vehicle names.

Unlock Commandeer before searching
According to MapMaster, you need the Commandeer skill to enter civilian vehicles. It costs 2 upgrade points and is in the far-right branch of the talent tree. Unlock it before setting out so you can drive the rare cars you find.

For a focused collection run, MapMaster recommends setting the shift length to Maximum before starting. Rare vehicles are often tucked into alleys or behind buildings, sometimes beneath makeshift corrugated-metal carports. Use those details as visual clues while searching the listed areas; they are not guaranteed markers for a particular car.
How Hidden in the Hood works
Insider Gaming says driving all 10 vehicles earns the silver Hidden in the Hood trophy or achievement. The vehicles are not permanent garage unlocks: Insider Gaming says a vehicle used resets at the end of the shift or workday and must be revisited at its fixed spawn to use it again. MapMaster likewise says rare cars return to their original locations when left behind or after a shift.

Why rare-car lists may not match
Third-party guides do not agree on the names in the rare-vehicle set. Insider Gaming lists Frostbite, Quinzo, and Buzzard GTX; MapMaster instead includes FrostFire, The Patriot, and Cobalt Stallion, and its list also varies elsewhere. No official developer list confirming the names or locations is established here, so this guide follows Insider Gaming’s 10-entry list rather than combining the competing lists.
The Precinct is set in Averno City in 1983. Its official site describes a police action sandbox with on-foot and vehicle exploration, pursuits, day-and-night cycles, and dynamic weather: The Precinct official site. Steam lists May 13, 2025 as the release date and Fallen Tree Games Ltd. as developer, with Kwalee as publisher: The Precinct on Steam.
