Yes. In The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), a player can share a personal home with guildmates by posting a house invite in the player guild’s Message of the Day. It is a player-owned home used as a guild gathering place—not a separate building owned by the guild.
What “guild house” means in ESO
ESO does not describe a separate guild-owned housing system in its official instructions. Instead, a guild house is a player’s home that guildmates can visit. ESO Support’s instructions for linking a guild house in the guild Message of the Day explain how to share an invite to one of your homes.
This is different from ESO’s character-specific quest guilds: the Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, and Undaunted. Those groups provide quests or abilities; a guild house is a home shared with a player-created guild. Player guilds are account-wide, and a player may join up to five, according to ESO Support’s overview of guilds.
How to share your home with guildmates
- Open Collections, select the home you want to share, and choose Link Invite in Chat. Alternatively, while in Browse/Inspection Mode, open the House Information panel.
- Copy the invite link that appears in chat.
- Paste the link into your guild’s Message of the Day so members can use it to visit.
Access is subject to the home’s population cap and applicable restrictions; a player you have blocked cannot enter. See ESO Support’s home-invite instructions for the invite method and its housing population-cap guidance for capacity details.

Check how many players a home allows
There is no single guest limit for every house. ESO Support says the population cap varies by home size. To check a particular home, open the Housing Editor, select Browse, then look under House Information. The support page does not state a universal capacity number.

A shared home is for visiting and gathering; it does not depend on the guild’s commerce features. Guild banks, guild stores, and guild traders are separate systems with their own eligibility and permissions.
Rank #2
| Feature | Purpose | How access works | Relevant limit or rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shared guild house | A place for guildmates to gather | The owner posts a home invite in the guild Message of the Day | Guest cap varies by home; check House Information in the Housing Editor |
| Guild bank | Shared item storage | Guild membership and rank-based permissions | ESO Support says a guild needs at least 10 members for a guild bank |
| Guild store | Listing items for guild members to buy | Guild membership and rank-based permissions | ESO Support says a guild needs at least 50 members for a guild store |
| Guild trader | Making guild-store listings available to the public | A guild purchases a trader through weekly blind bidding | ESO Support says only one trader is awarded to a guild for the week |
The guild bank and store thresholds are from ESO Support’s guild bank and store requirements; trader bidding is described in ESO Support’s guild trader guidance. Bank permissions can be configured by rank for deposits, withdrawals, guild-store activity, and member promotions or demotions, as explained in ESO Support’s guild bank permissions guide. Those commerce rules do not determine whether a guild can use a member’s home as a gathering place.
