Bandai Namco Southeast Asia reportedly listed an Age 1000 teaser in a YouTube playlist titled Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 before the game was officially announced. The playlist was later removed, according to GamesRadar. Bandai Namco did not publicly explain the listing; the publisher confirmed Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 separately at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026.
What was the reported leak?
On February 23, 2026, GamesRadar reported that a Bandai Namco Southeast Asia YouTube playlist titled Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 briefly contained the teaser for the then-mysterious Age 1000 project. The playlist was subsequently removed. That account is secondary reporting: the reviewed official announcements do not say who created the playlist or confirm that its appearance was accidental. The playlist story and the official reveal were distinct events. Bandai Namco announced the game at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour in April 2026, identifying Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 as the title behind the Age 1000 teaser. Is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 confirmed?
Yes. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is officially announced, not merely a rumored sequel. Bandai Namco’s event recap says the new game was previously teased as “Age 1000.” The publisher’s May 2026 investor presentation also lists the game in its 2027 release plans, corroborating the announced year without specifying a day or month. Bandai Namco Holdings’ FY2027.3 presentation is the company planning reference.

When is Xenoverse 3 coming out, and on what platforms?
Bandai Namco’s current announced plan is a 2027 release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. No specific launch date is stated in the cited announcements, so 2027 should be treated as a planned release year, not a dated launch or guarantee. The publisher’s April reveal recap lists the platforms and year.
What has Bandai Namco shown about the game?
The announced setting is a new Dragon Ball world in AGE 1000, with West City as a central location. A June 23, 2026 update introduced the Great Saiya Squad, original characters, and two combat mechanics: Soul Assist and Soul Switch. Should you play Xenoverse 2 while waiting?
