How to redeem the Rafa skin code
You can enter the code on Gearbox’s SHiFT website or use the in-game SHiFT menu. The website provides a code check and confirmation flow.

- Sign in to your SHiFT account on the Gearbox SHiFT website.
- Open Rewards, enter TZXT3-XJXCB-CXBJW-BTTJT-9SK6B under Code Redemption, then select Check.
- If prompted, select Borderlands 4 and your intended platform, then claim the reward. A successful website redemption displays a confirmation banner.
- In the game, collect the earned item at Inventory > Equipment > Reward Center. Open the Customization tab to equip the skin.
For the official code-based reward flow, you need a SHiFT account, a copy of Borderlands 4 and an internet connection. This is a digital cosmetic, not a physical item. 2K’s Borderlands 4 overview also describes code redemption through the in-game SHiFT menu.
Does the code expire?
PC Gamer’s current Borderlands 4 code list lists December 31, 2030 as the expiration date. That listing is not a live redemption confirmation; check the code with SHiFT, since 2K warns that codes can be time-sensitive, expired or limited to a specific game. The code has not been verified here by submitting it to a SHiFT account.

What to do if the code does not work
- Check that every character is entered correctly, including the hyphens.
- Make sure Borderlands 4 and the intended platform are selected if SHiFT asks you to choose them.
- Use SHiFT’s Check option. 2K says the system reports when a code does not exist or has expired; codes do not necessarily work across every Borderlands game. See 2K’s SHiFT redemption guidance.
Why Rafa received the skin
Savings Saviour was a community challenge reward. GamesRadar reported that Gearbox announced players completed more than 23.4 million Second Winds as Rafa in 2025. That total is historical context for the challenge, not a personal redemption requirement. A later official community challenge page also identifies Savings Savior as a previously unlocked Vault Hunter skin reward.
