Two AMR Mod 4 builds for BO6 multiplayer
The AMR Mod 4 is a sniper rifle introduced in Season 01. These recommendations are specifically for Black Ops 6 multiplayer; builds for Warzone or Zombies are separate and should not be substituted without checking their mode-specific needs.

Both builds share Muzzle Brake, Heavy Riser, and Rapid Fire. The two open slots are where the recommendations diverge: CODMunity lists Commando Grip and Strelok Laser, while Dot Esports lists Extended Mag II and Quickdraw Grip. The cited guides are published recommendations, not controlled comparisons, so they do not establish which two-slot combination will perform better for every player.
What the shared attachments are intended to do
Muzzle Brake: recoil and kick recovery
Both builds include Muzzle Brake. Dot Esports describes it as helping recoil control and kick reset speed; CODMunity associates it with faster rebound. Treat those as the guides’ stated purposes, not as measured results for a current patch.

Rapid Fire: faster firing with a patch-sensitive recoil trade-off
Both recommendations include Rapid Fire to increase fire rate, according to Dot Esports. Its recoil trade-off changed: Activision’s Season 04 Reloaded notes in 2025 say the AMR Mod 4 Rapid Fire vertical recoil penalty was reduced from 20% to 15%. Heavy Riser: flinch resistance
Dot Esports identifies Heavy Riser as the flinch-resistance choice in its build. That can make it the more relevant shared attachment for players who want to address being disrupted while aiming, though the cited guide does not quantify the effect.

How to choose between the two builds
- Choose Dot Esports’ build if magazine capacity and ADS speed matter most to you. The guide says Extended Mag II gives the rifle a 10-round magazine and Quickdraw Grip improves aim-down-sight speed.
- Try CODMunity’s two different slots if you want to explore its grip-and-laser combination. Its published list names Commando Grip and Strelok Laser, but the available source does not establish a quantified advantage over Quickdraw Grip and Extended Mag II.
- Keep the shared core if you want to follow either published recommendation. Both use Muzzle Brake, Heavy Riser, and Rapid Fire; their differences lie in the remaining two attachments.
Activision describes Gunsmith as a way to specialize weapons using attachments that affect categories such as range, accuracy and recoil, magazine capacity, handling, and firepower. Weapon XP earned in combat unlocks more attachments, and Activision recommends choosing based on intended playstyle. Patch history and how current these recommendations are
The sources establish dated recommendations and historical changes, not a verified October 2026 meta build. CODMunity records a Season 5 adjustment dated 06/08/2025: ADS speed changed from 625 ms to 610 ms, and bullet velocity from 780 m/s to 810 m/s. Use Gunsmith to apply attachments as they become available. Activision’s multiplayer guide says weapon XP earned in combat unlocks attachments and frames Gunsmith as a way to specialize a weapon around a chosen playstyle. If an attachment in either published build is not unlocked on your account, continue progressing the weapon and use an available option that serves the same priority; the cited sources do not identify a specific substitute attachment.
