Paul Bishop is reported to lead Rainbow Six Tactics, a separate single-player game planned for 2027—not to return as an operator in Rainbow Six Siege. Siege’s Year 11 connection to the Vegas era is Calypso Casino, a new map Ubisoft describes as a tribute to that era.
What Bishop’s return actually means
GamesRadar reports that Paul Bishop, the protagonist of Rainbow Six: Vegas and Vegas 2, will lead Rainbow Six Tactics. The project is described as a single-player, turn-based strategy game, rather than a new Siege operator or a continuation of Siege’s live-service seasons. Ubisoft’s Year 11 roadmap does not identify Bishop as Siege content.
The distinction matters: two Rainbow Six developments connect to the Vegas era, but in different ways. Bishop is associated with the reported Tactics project; Calypso Casino is Siege’s map callback. The available reports do not confirm that Bishop will be playable in Siege.
What Siege Year 11 adds
Ubisoft’s Year 11 roadmap began with Operation Silent Hunt on March 3, 2026. Its Season 2 plans included a Dokkaebi remaster and Calypso Casino, which Ubisoft called a tribute to the Vegas era and said was designed to current competitive standards. The roadmap also outlined a shield-counter defender and Operator Mastery for Season 3. Ubisoft’s Year 11 roadmap
