Yes. The Nighthold has a quest-unlocked shortcut: choose Nightspire at the raid teleporter to go directly to Elisande. You still need to defeat Elisande before Gul’dan, the final boss. The current legacy raid guide says a Mythic shortcut unlock also applies to Normal and Heroic and is shared across your Warband.
How the Nighthold shortcut works
The shortcut is tied to The Nighthold: Talisman of the Shal’dorei, a quest that starts and ends with First Arcanist Thalyssra. After completing the required quest progress, a door opens near the first scorpion pack. Inside, use the teleporter and select the destination you want. Wowhead’s current legacy raid guide confirms the shortcut and its unlock scope; Wowhead’s raid-skip guide, updated July 22, 2021, describes the teleporter and its destinations.
Teleporter destinations
| Option | Where it takes you |
|---|---|
| Palace Entrance | Near Spellblade Aluriel |
| Palace Courtyard | To Krosus |
| Nightspire | Directly to Elisande |
If your goal is to reach the last part of the raid, select Nightspire. The other two choices provide intermediate routes rather than taking you to Elisande.
Which bosses remain after using Nightspire?
The Nightspire route takes you to Elisande, not past her. Elisande and Gul’dan remain the final two encounters, and Elisande must be defeated before you can fight Gul’dan.
#1 Best Overall
The Nighthold has ten encounters. Its progression is Skorpyron, Chronomatic Anomaly, Trilliax, Spellblade Aluriel, Star Augur Etraeus, High Botanist Tel’arn, Krosus, Tichondrius, Elisande, and Gul’dan. The first three are required in order; the following five can be completed in any order; then Elisande precedes Gul’dan.
Unlock requirement and difficulty coverage
The current Wowhead legacy raid guide reports that unlocking the shortcut on Mythic also unlocks it on Normal and Heroic, and that the unlock is shared across the Warband. In other words, the guide describes the Mythic unlock as covering those lower difficulties and the Warband, rather than requiring a separate unlock for each character.

An older Warcraft Wiki quest page says the Talisman quest requires four Echoes of Time from Elisande on the selected Normal, Heroic, or Mythic difficulty. The current legacy guide confirms the quest and cross-difficulty/Warband behavior but does not repeat that item count. Check the quest objective in game before relying on the four-Echo requirement.
