Find Withers in the Dank Crypt beneath the Overgrown Ruins in Act One: interact with the sarcophagus in its secret chamber to wake him. If you miss that encounter, he eventually appears at camp. There, he can resurrect dead companions, let you rebuild a character’s class choices, and provide hirelings.
Where to find Withers
Withers is in the Dank Crypt, an ancient temple of Jergal in the Overgrown Ruins during Act One. Explore the crypt until you find its secret chamber, then interact with the sarcophagus. If you missed the Dank Crypt
Missing the sarcophagus encounter does not permanently lock you out of Withers. He eventually appears at camp on his own. You can still return to the Dank Crypt, but his sarcophagus will be empty once he has arrived at camp. The exact story trigger for his arrival is not established here, so check camp rather than relying on a particular quest milestone.

What respec changes—and what it does not
Respec returns the character to level 1 for class-related choices. You can choose class and subclass, ability scores, skill proficiencies, spells, feats, and other options tied to leveling.
