What are the trial’s multiplayer limits?
You can play offline, and LAN multiplayer is allowed. You cannot join online multiplayer servers during the trial. Minecraft also says the trial’s default player name cannot be changed.

Does a Minecraft Realms trial include Java Edition?
No. Realms is a separate online hosting subscription, not a free license for Minecraft: Java Edition. Minecraft’s Realms page advertises a 30-day trial for eligible users and says the subscription automatically renews unless canceled. A Realms trial should not be mistaken for a trial or permanent free copy of the game.
