Supercell did announce Pizza Planet event rewards and Brawl Stars Championship watch-and-earn rewards that month, but neither announcement lists a reward QR code, its prize, or a redemption deadline. Treat code lists without a matching official campaign announcement as unverified.
What Supercell announced in January 2025
Pizza Planet event rewards
In its January 2, 2025 announcement, Supercell described ways to earn Pizza Slices for the Pizza Planet event: the Shop calendar, daily offers, seasonal quests, and the Scoreboard Contest. The in-game Pizza Planet Shop also offered a freebie bundle each day, cosmetics, and progression items. These were event rewards, not evidence of a QR-code campaign. Supercell’s Pizza Planet event announcement gave event-specific estimates of 2,660 free Pizza Slices at most and 2,000 on average; those figures describe that event, not QR rewards.
Championship rewards
Supercell’s January 18, 2025 Brawl Stars Championship announcement named January 31 as the first Championship Challenge. It also directed viewers to event.brawlstars.com to watch Monthly Finals and earn rewards. The announcement does not identify a QR code or a January reward-code list. QR codes, Store Codes, and event rewards are different
| Mechanism | What it does | How it is used | What the official sources establish |
|---|---|---|---|
| Team QR code | Lets a player join another player’s team. | Scan the team code to join. | Supercell Support describes this as a team-joining feature, not a promotional reward. Supercell Support: Team QR codes. |
| Store Code | Promotional code for a game offer or reward. | Redeem it in the relevant game’s Supercell Store. | Supercell says eligible creators, official channels, esports events, or promotions may distribute Store Codes, and that codes can expire. This is a code-string mechanism, not automatically a QR code. Supercell Store Codes guide. |
| In-game or esports event reward | Reward tied to a named event or activity. | Use the official in-game or event route specified by the campaign. | Supercell documented Pizza Planet rewards and Championship watch-and-earn rewards in January 2025, but did not identify them as QR-code rewards. How to assess a January 2025 code claim
For a historical reward claim, look for an original Supercell or official Brawl Stars campaign post that identifies the QR code or code, the reward, and the applicable redemption window. Without those details, a third-party page’s “active” or “working” label does not establish that the code was official or redeemable.
