Epic says outfits are cosmetic, do not provide a competitive advantage, and do not have different hitbox sizes. These six picks from Chapter 6 Season 2 and Season 3 are historical recommendations based on style and character appeal, not a ranking of which outfit wins more matches.
How to choose a Fortnite outfit
Pick an outfit for its look, theme, or connection to a character you like. The official season announcements establish which outfits were included, but they do not provide popularity rankings, player ratings, win rates, or performance tiers. Outfit choice is cosmetic, not a gameplay strategy.
Epic’s support guidance puts the hitbox question plainly: “Some Fortnite outfits may visibly appear larger in-game, but they do not differ in hitbox sizes.” A slim-looking outfit therefore does not give you a smaller target.
Six Fortnite outfit picks from 2025
| Outfit | Why it may appeal | 2025 season and access |
|---|---|---|
| Robin | Recognizable Teen Titans character; a franchise-appeal pick. | Chapter 6 Season 3: Super! Battle Pass. Epic said Robin unlocked immediately after purchasing that pass; its access period ended August 7, 2025, Eastern Time. |
| Outlaw Midas | A returning Fortnite-original character variant. | Chapter 6 Season 2: LAWLESS; unlockable through Battle Pass quests in March 2025. The pass ended May 2, 2025, Eastern Time. |
| Sub-Zero (MK3) | A Mortal Kombat crossover pick for fighting-game fans. | Named among the premium rewards in the LAWLESS Battle Pass, which ended May 2, 2025, Eastern Time. |
| Lightrider | A distinctive surfing and light-wave visual theme. | Included in the Super! Battle Pass; its access period ended August 7, 2025, Eastern Time. |
| Cassidy Quinn | A season-specific outfit with an outlaw theme. | Epic said it could be claimed immediately after purchasing the LAWLESS Battle Pass. That pass ended May 2, 2025, Eastern Time. |
| Morgan Myst | A shadow-themed superhero and fantasy-style option. | Included in the Super! Battle Pass, which ended August 7, 2025, Eastern Time. |
Can you still unlock these Battle Pass outfits?
The access windows for both passes have ended, so these historical Battle Pass rewards should not be treated as currently unlockable through those passes. Epic’s Chapter 6 Season 2 announcement gives May 2, 2025, Eastern Time, as the season end; its Super! announcement was updated to give August 7, 2025, Eastern Time.
