Developed by SBN3 and published by SBN3 and Wrath Club, The Re-Up is a single-player visual novel presented as a fully voiced interactive sitcom. How does it connect to the first game?
The official store copy is explicit: “It’s not a sequel, it’s not a remaster, it’s The Re-Up! A new serving of story stems parallel to the first critically acclaimed Class of ’09, the interactive sitcom you never knew you needed.” In other words, it offers parallel story material rather than positioning itself as a continuation or updated version of the original. How many endings are there?
The Steam description says players navigate through seven different endings. It also says bonus content unlocks upon 100% completion. Content warnings
Steam’s developer-provided description says the game contains primarily verbal, non-endorsing references to self-harm, pornography, suicide, drug use, bigotry, and sexual assault. It also notes still illustrations depicting drug trafficking and allusions to self-harm, and states that all characters are over 18. These subjects may make the game unsuitable for some players even though the description characterizes the references as non-endorsing. Steam store page.
