No. One Microsoft account can designate only one Xbox console as its Home Xbox at a time. You can change which console is Home, but Microsoft limits those changes to five during a rolling one-year period. Digital-game access can still work on a Home console and a second console where the purchasing account is signed in, subject to sign-in and simultaneous-play rules.
What “Home Xbox” means for game sharing
Microsoft’s digital-game licensing uses a device-based license for the Home Xbox and a user-based license associated with the Microsoft account that bought the game. Other profiles using the Home Xbox can access content covered by its device license. The purchasing account can use its user license on another Xbox while signed in.
This lets one account’s game access span two consoles in some circumstances, but it does not make both consoles Home Xboxes. The Home console is the one that provides device-based access to other users.
How to use two Xbox consoles
Choose the setup based on who needs access on each console and whether the players need to play at the same time.

| Setup | How access works | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Shared console is the Home Xbox | Other profiles on that console can use content covered by its device license. The purchasing account can sign in on the second console and use its user license there. | A household console used by multiple profiles, with the purchasing account playing on the other console. |
| Second console remains the Home Xbox | Other profiles receive device-based access on that console. On the other Xbox, access depends on the purchasing account being signed in and using its user license. | When the second console is the one that needs shared-profile access. |
For simultaneous play, the usual arrangement is for a different profile to play on the Home Xbox while the purchasing account plays on the other console. Microsoft says the same account cannot play games on two consoles at once under its user license. Check the individual game’s rules, too.
Can one Xbox be Home for multiple accounts?
Yes. Several Microsoft accounts can each designate the same physical Xbox as their Home console. The one-console limit applies to each account’s designation: it prevents one account from having two Home Xboxes at once, not several accounts from sharing the same Home console.

Changing your Home Xbox
Microsoft allows up to five Home-console changes in a rolling one-year period. The period starts when the account first assigns or changes its Home Xbox. When you change the designation, the account’s device licenses move to the newly designated console, so other profiles’ device-based access follows that console.
Because the allowance is limited, avoid switching consoles just to test a setup. Consider which console needs access for other profiles and whether the purchasing account can remain signed in on the other one.

What may not be shared
Game and subscription access can vary by product, add-on, subscription tier, and region. Microsoft notes that some add-ons and content may be for personal use, so a Home Xbox designation should not be treated as a promise that every purchase or subscription benefit is shared with every profile. Check the terms for the specific item.
