XP earned in LEGO Fortnite can count toward your Battle Pass progression. Epic says Battle Pass rewards unlock as you earn XP in any Fortnite experience, and XP can advance all of your active Fortnite passes at the same time.
How LEGO Fortnite XP advances your Battle Pass
Epic Games’ current Battle Pass page says rewards unlock as players earn XP in any Fortnite experience. Epic’s October 28, 2024 pass-progression announcement is more explicit: “Earn XP in any experience in Fortnite and you’ll progress across all active Fortnite passes simultaneously.” That means playing LEGO Fortnite can move your Battle Pass progress forward, provided the pass is active.
Battle Pass and LEGO Pass rewards are separate
Fortnite’s Battle Pass and LEGO Pass are different reward tracks. XP earned in a Fortnite experience can progress active passes, but each pass has its own rewards and requirements; progress does not make their reward tracks interchangeable. Epic’s LEGO Pass announcement gives an example of LEGO Pass rewards being earnable through XP in any Fortnite experience.
There is no guaranteed level-per-hour rate
Epic says active passes can require different amounts of XP to reach their next reward tier. The official information does not establish a fixed LEGO Fortnite XP-per-hour rate or promise a Battle Pass level after a set number of minutes. For the current requirement, check the reward screen for the pass you want to progress.

What XP does—and does not do
XP advances pass progression toward rewards; it does not mean every reward is automatically granted as soon as you earn XP. Pass pages or certain reward styles may have additional requirements. Epic’s progression guidance points players to each pass’s own reward screen for its current thresholds.
The progression described by Epic comes from playing Fortnite experiences. Its cited pass guidance does not identify a physical LEGO product as a way to earn XP or Battle Pass levels.
