Yes—if the Call of Duty game supports cross-progression, your PS5 progress can carry over to PC. Link your PlayStation and PC platform accounts to the same Activision account that already holds your progress. This links accounts; it does not move progress from one Activision account to another. The exact rules can vary by Call of Duty release and PC storefront.
How to link your PS5 and PC accounts
- Find the Activision account used on PS5. Use the account linked to the PlayStation Network profile where your Call of Duty progress is saved.
- Sign in to that Activision account and open Linked Accounts.
- Link the PC account for your game’s storefront. Activision lists providers including Steam, Blizzard, Xbox/Microsoft Store, Nintendo, Ubisoft and PlayStation, but available options depend on the game and platform.
- Complete the verification and sign-in prompts for the platform provider.
- Launch Call of Duty on PC and check that it is using the same Activision account. If the game was already open while you linked accounts, restart it; Activision specifically gives this instruction for Black Ops 7.
Activision’s account guidance says only one account per provider can be linked to an Activision account. It also says an individual platform account can be unlinked once every 12 months; enforcement or suspicious activity may restrict unlinking.
What carries over—and what may not
In games with cross-progression, eligible game progress is associated with your Activision account and carries across platforms linked to that account. Activision explicitly confirms this for Black Ops 6 and Warzone, and its general account guidance describes the same account-based principle for crossplay-enabled games. That is not a guarantee that every Call of Duty release, storefront or purchase entitlement works identically.
Warzone’s platform guidance says players can continue their experience on current-generation console or PC when they use the same linked Activision account. Check the support information for your specific release if you need to confirm a particular item or entitlement.

These distinctions matter: shared progression does not mean every currency balance or paid entitlement is shared.
If your progress is missing on PC
- Check the Activision account first. Confirm that the PC platform identity is linked to the original Activision account used on PS5, not a new or alternate account.
- Do not unlink accounts as a first troubleshooting step. Unlinking is rate-limited, and enforcement or suspicious activity may prevent it.
- If the PC account is linked to the wrong Activision account, Activision says progress and content are not lost; relinking the platform account to the original Activision account restores access.
- If you cannot access the original account, use Activision Support’s account recovery, password or email-change options rather than attaching your PSN identity to another Activision account.
What to check for your specific Call of Duty game
Because the question does not identify a release, confirm these details before relying on a particular transfer or purchase rule:

- The game title and season or version.
- The PC storefront or platform provider you use.
- Whether the PSN and PC accounts are linked to the same Activision account.
- Whether the item is progression, COD Points, a COD Points purchase or a real-money purchase.
- Whether you face an unlink cooldown, account restriction or access problem.

Its Black Ops 6 and Warzone crossplay and cross-progression guidance describes progression across platforms linked to the same Activision account.
