The Destiny Companion app lets you acquire weekly, daily, and repeatable bounties; for vendor quests, rewards, and other items, you still need to visit the vendor in Destiny 2. You can also inspect vendor stock in the app, but that does not mean you can buy everything shown there.
What you can buy in the Destiny Companion
Bungie’s Mobile Bounty Purchase instructions cover eligible weekly, daily, and repeatable bounties. A bounty acquired in the app costs the same in-game currency as buying it directly from the vendor. After you confirm, the required materials are removed from your inventory and the bounty is added to your bounty inventory.

To acquire one, sign in to the Destiny Companion, open Director > Bounties, select a character, choose a vendor and bounty, tap Acquire, and confirm. Bungie says push notifications must be enabled for mobile bounty purchases.
What requires an in-game vendor visit
Bungie’s stated limit is clear: “Players will still need to visit vendors in-game to pick up Quests, rewards, and other items.” The app listing says you can inspect vendors for what they have available, but viewing a vendor’s stock is different from purchasing all of it remotely.

Where bounty purchases work—and exceptions
Bungie lists orbit, offline, and the Tower as states in which players can acquire bounties through the app. There are specific exceptions:
- Petra Venj: The app does not support acquiring her Dreaming City bounties.
- Suraya Hawthorne: To acquire daily clan bounties, you must have a character in the Tower.
- Last Wish Raid Challenge: These bounties can be acquired from anywhere.
Eververse purchase history is not remote purchasing
Bungie’s Eververse guide says your Destiny Companion profile can show Eververse purchase history. That is a way to review transactions, not confirmation that you can buy Eververse items remotely through the app. The guide describes buying items from the Eververse Trading Co. storefront with Silver or Bright Dust and notes that availability and mechanics can change.

- Check that you are signed in with your Destiny 2 account and Bungie.net account, using the official Destiny Companion.
- Confirm push notifications are enabled, then retry the purchase.
- If it still fails, sign out of the app and sign back in. Bungie recommends clearing the app cache if signing in again does not resolve the issue.
- If your bounty inventory is full, check for expired bounties. They do not automatically disappear; delete them in-game to make room.
The Destiny Companion Guide says the service is available on Bungie.net and as a mobile app on select devices. Bungie also advises caution with third-party sites or apps that request access to your Bungie.net account.
