Poppy Playtime: Chapter 4 – Safe Haven is paid downloadable content released on January 30, 2025. You need the free Poppy Playtime base game to play it; buying the chapter alone does not include that base game. This guide starts with spoiler-light access information, then outlines the main route using only confirmed encounter landmarks.
What is Poppy Playtime: Chapter 4 – Safe Haven?
Safe Haven is the fourth chapter of Mob Entertainment’s horror-puzzle game, set deeper in the Playtime Co. factory. Its premise centers on new threats and allies, puzzles, and further revelations about the company’s experiments. Mob describes atmosphere, sound design, puzzles, and expanded lore as chapter features; those are the publisher’s descriptions, not independent assessments.
The chapter was released on January 30, 2025, according to Steam’s listing and Mob Entertainment’s Chapter 4 page.
What do you need to play Chapter 4?
- The free base game: Download Poppy Playtime first. Mob’s official Chapter 4 page says, “You must first download the Base Game (free) to play this DLC.”
- The Chapter 4 DLC: The chapter is a separate paid add-on; purchasing it gives you Chapter 4, not the base game. Steam also identifies it as downloadable content that requires the base game.
Check the store page for your platform before buying if you need current pricing or platform-specific compatibility details. The confirmed release and access information here applies to the publisher’s Chapter 4 page and the Steam listing.
