Doja Cat has not been confirmed as a Fortnitemares 2026 boss in the official Epic Games announcements reviewed as of October 8, 2026. Her “Mother of Thorns” role was part of Fortnitemares 2025; Epic’s 2026 event announcements name other characters and do not announce her return.
Is Doja Cat coming to Fortnite for Fortnitemares 2026?
Not according to Epic’s published 2026 event materials checked on October 8. That means the claim that she is coming back as a 2026 boss is unconfirmed, not established fact. Epic could update its announcements, so this reflects what the company had announced by October 8 rather than a guarantee that she will not appear later.
What is confirmed for Fortnitemares 2026?
Battle Royale and Horde Rush
Epic’s October 1 announcement says Fortnitemares spans Battle Royale, Horde Rush, and Reload. In Battle Royale, players can visit Freaky Fields and the Nightmare Neighborhood POI, where Freddy Krueger waits. Defeating him grants Freddy’s Nightmare, an item that enables a teleport and slash attack. Epic also lists the new Bonerattler SMG and the returning Wood Stake Shotgun and Pumpkin Launcher.

Was Doja Cat already in Fortnite?
Yes. In a release dated October 10, 2025, Epic Games Japan announced Doja Cat as “Mother of Thorns” for Fortnitemares 2025. The release gave the event dates as October 9 through November 1, U.S. time. That past role is documented, but it does not confirm a return for 2026. Epic Games Japan’s Fortnitemares 2025 announcement records the collaboration.
Was the Doja Cat music collaboration separate?
Yes. Epic Games Japan’s 2025 announcement also said two tracks from Doja Cat’s album Vie—“AAAHH MEN!” and “Gorgeous”—arrived in Fortnite as Jam Tracks. The songs were a music tie-in, distinct from her “Mother of Thorns” character role; neither item establishes a 2026 boss appearance.
