Yes. Adults make up a substantial share of Roblox’s age-checked daily players: 26% of that group were 18 or older in the seven days ended March 31, 2026. That figure does not show what percentage of all Roblox users are adults, because it covers only people who had completed an age check.
What share of Roblox’s players are adults?
Roblox Corporation’s Q1 2026 shareholder letter reports that 26% of age-checked daily active users (DAUs) were 18 or older in the seven days ended March 31, 2026. In the same cohort, 36% were under 13 and 38% were ages 13–17. Roblox Q1 2026 shareholder letter
The denominator matters: this is the age distribution among daily users who had age-checked, not among every Roblox user or every DAU. Roblox’s official figures do not establish the adult share of all users, and the age-checked group may not represent users who have not checked their age. So the evidence supports saying that many adults play Roblox, but not that 26% of all Roblox players are adults.
How have the reported figures changed?
The previous reported snapshot used a different date. As of January 31, 2026, Roblox said 45% of global DAUs had age-checked; within that age-checked group, 27% were 18 or older, 38% were ages 13–17, and 35% were under 13. The company cautioned that the cohort mix could change as more users completed age checks. Roblox Q4 2025 shareholder letter

The 26% and 27% figures are snapshots from different dates, not a direct measure of a shift in the adult share of Roblox overall. The 45% age-check rate belongs to the January snapshot; it should not be combined with the March age distribution to estimate the number or share of adult players.
Is Roblox only for children?
No. Roblox’s audience includes children, teens, and adults. The company has also described adults as part of its intended audience: in a May 2023 post, founder and CEO David Baszucki wrote, “Our goal is one platform, where age-appropriate experiences for every life stage can be found.” That states the company’s direction; it is not a demographic statistic. Historical figures offer context but should not be mistaken for the latest adult share. Roblox reported that ages 17–24 made up 22% of its community in Q4 2022, and that DAUs in that age range grew 35% year over year in Q1 2023. The band includes 17-year-olds, so it is not an adult-only measure. Roblox, 2023 community update

Roblox’s age-check announcement describes age groups that include 18–20 and 21+. Chat is limited to users in the same or similar age groups, as appropriate, with Trusted Connections identified as an exception for people who know each other. Roblox’s February 2026 explanation says users aged 18 or older can use a one-time reset option to redo an age check. It also says signals such as gameplay patterns may prompt another check when the system detects a likely mismatch. These describe Roblox’s stated policy and system behavior, not independent evidence of how accurately age checks classify users. Roblox February 2026 age-check update
