Chapter 2, “A Cyber’s World,” takes place in the Cyber World, which begins in the library computer lab. Queen is the chapter’s antagonist; Spamton NEO is an optional Shadow Crystal boss. This guide lays out the supported route choices and key unlocks, but does not claim room-by-room puzzle directions or exact battle commands that the available sources do not establish.
Choose a route before you begin
The standard route follows the chapter’s main progression through the Cyber World, Cyber City and Queen’s Mansion toward Queen. You can also pursue the Weird Route, commonly called the Snowgrave Route, which centers on Noelle freezing enemies and substantially changes the story events. Recruitment and peaceful encounters are part of the standard-route approach; enemy-specific ACT and SPARE requirements should be checked in the current game rather than assumed from a general rule.

Chapter orientation and combat
“A Cyber’s World” is Chapter 2 of DELTARUNE. Its setting is the Cyber World, created in the library computer lab. The chapter’s central antagonist is Queen, and its main route moves through several Cyber World areas before reaching Queen’s Mansion and the Queen encounter.

The game combines bullet-pattern battles, puzzles and choices about whether to resolve conflict peacefully. For a standard-route peaceful encounter, use the relevant ACT/SPARE approach for that enemy; do not assume one command works for every opponent. Trash Field
The main route begins in Trash Field. Continue along the chapter’s story progression toward Cyber City, following the puzzles and encounters the game presents. Exact room-by-room directions and puzzle answers are not specified here, so this guide does not present unverified solutions as definitive.

Cyber City
Cyber City is the next major area in the standard route. Continue through its story encounters and puzzles toward Queen’s Mansion. When an encounter offers a peaceful resolution, use the enemy’s relevant ACT/SPARE guidance; recruitment depends on enemy-specific actions rather than a universal command.
Queen’s Mansion
Queen’s Mansion is the route’s major late-chapter area and leads toward the Queen encounter. Follow the main story progression through the mansion. The optional Spamton NEO unlock also involves the mansion basement, but its steps are covered separately below to keep the main route clear.

Recruiting and peaceful encounters on the standard route
Recruitment and peaceful resolution rely on ACT/SPARE, but the required action varies by enemy. Treat enemy-specific instructions as specific: a general “use ACT” reminder is not a substitute for the command or condition shown for that opponent in the current version of the game. Avoid assuming that every enemy can be recruited through the same sequence.
- Check the enemy’s available ACT options and use the action that advances its peaceful resolution.
- Use SPARE when the encounter’s state permits it.
- For exact enemy-by-enemy commands, verify against the current game; the cited walkthrough does not independently validate every battle strategy.
Queen encounter and aftermath
Queen is the antagonist of Chapter 2, and the standard route leads to an encounter with her in the late chapter. The sources establish this broad progression but not a fully verified, turn-by-turn boss strategy. Follow the battle prompts and patterns in your game version rather than relying on an unverified move list.

How to unlock the secret boss Spamton NEO
Spoilers: optional boss and unlock sequence. Spamton NEO is Chapter 2’s Shadow Crystal boss. Fan walkthroughs describe an unlock sequence involving a KeyGen and an Empty Disk in Queen’s Mansion basement. Because the precise steps are version-sensitive and not independently verified here, use the in-game prompts and confirm the sequence against the current platform version before relying on a room-by-room guide. Availability and release context
Chapter 2 was released for free in September 2021; Toby Fox’s official update said, “So I decided to release DELTARUNE Chapter 2 for free.” The same update points people who want to support the creator toward the soundtrack on Bandcamp: official September 2021 update.
Availability differs by platform and may change with updates. The official DELTARUNE site currently describes Chapters 1–5 as available in the demo, with more planned as free updates. Nintendo’s product listing describes Chapters 1–4 and lists Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Check the listing for your platform and region for current chapter availability.
