The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered includes the original game’s two story expansions and eight additional DLC items in the Standard Edition. Deluxe is not required for Shivering Isles or Knights of the Nine; it adds newer digital extras instead.
What DLC is included in the Standard Edition?
Bethesda’s edition-content list includes both story expansions and these eight additional DLC items in Standard:
- Shivering Isles
- Knights of the Nine
- Fighter’s Stronghold
- Spell Tomes
- Vile Lair
- Mehrune’s Razor
- The Thieves Den
- Wizard’s Tower
- The Orrery
- Horse Pack Armor
Bethesda’s April 22, 2025 guide describes the remaster as including all downloadable content from the 2009 Game of the Year Edition and names the same expansions and add-ons.
What does Deluxe add?
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the same original DLC as Standard. Its additional content is a set of quests for unique Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon armor, weapons, and horse armor, plus a digital artbook and soundtrack app. Bethesda says the digital Deluxe upgrade requires the base game.

In short, the upgrade is for those newer digital extras—not to unlock the original expansions or add-ons. Check the edition description for your platform before purchase, since store listings can vary.

Bethesda’s physical-edition FAQ says the Xbox and PlayStation Physical Deluxe Edition includes the base game and original DLC, but requires an additional download to play. The box also includes a code for the unique digital armor and weapon sets, digital artbook, and soundtrack app. Follow the instructions included with the copy to access the download and code content.

Bethesda’s August 11, 2026 Switch 2 announcement also lists both expansions and all eight additional items under Standard Edition.
