The Dress To Impress Petal Update ran from April 26 to May 26, 2025, according to Pro Game Guides’ update guide. It was more than a cosmetic release: the guide reports a redesigned shop, accessory-adjustment controls, player-visibility settings, interface changes, and new clothing, hairstyles, makeup, patterns, poses, and walks. The details below are a retrospective based on secondary reporting; an official final patch-note list was not available in the reviewed sources.
When did the Petal Update launch and end?
Pro Game Guides reports that the event began on April 26, 2025, and ended on May 26, 2025. The guide lists launch times as April 26 at 8:00 AM Pacific Standard Time, 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, and 4:00 PM Greenwich Mean Time. Those are the source’s time-zone labels, reproduced as published rather than converted.
Before release, DTI Girls reported that the game had announced an April 26 launch date. That article also included speculation, so its guesses should not be treated as confirmed update content.
What changed for players?
Redesigned shop
The update guide describes a shop opened with an on-screen bag, lipstick, or shoe icon. It organizes items into Featured, Gamepasses, Clothing, Packs, and Currency. The guide distinguishes purchases made with in-game cash from those made with Robux; it does not establish that every listed item is free or available through the same payment method.

What did the developers say before release?
DTI Girls’ April 19, 2025 report describes a Q&A with BeaPlays, identified as community manager, and Umoyae, identified as manager and writer. In that pre-release account, Umoyae characterized the planned update as focused on quality-of-life improvements while adding content such as walks.
The same account said there would be no spring quest and no swimsuits in the Petal Update. It also reported that older items were being reworked partly to reduce lag associated with high triangle counts and sometimes to improve their appearance. DTI Girls transcribed Umoyae as saying: “So the main reason we rework items is because sometimes the triangle count which in modeling terms like the details sometimes it’s so high that it lags the game.” This is the secondary article’s transcript wording, not an independently checked audio transcription.

Are the Petal Update codes still redeemable?
Pro Game Guides reported two new codes, but the feature summary reviewed here does not identify them or establish whether either remains redeemable today. Treat any old code list as unverified unless the code and its current status are checked against a current source. The reviewed sources also do not provide an official final patch-note post, so the item totals above remain attributed to the guide rather than presented as an official developer count.
