Nintendo’s June 4, 2025 interview with Toby Fox likewise summarizes the story around Kris, Susie, and Ralsei, describing Kris as a human teenager in a modern town. That is an official synopsis, not a complete character roster, so Frisk’s absence from it cannot establish that Frisk does not exist anywhere in the setting.
Is Kris Frisk?
The cited official sources do not identify Kris as Frisk. They name Kris as Deltarune’s human protagonist, but do not state that Kris and Frisk are the same person. Similarities or theories about the characters may be interesting to fans, but they are not confirmation of an identity.

Does Frisk exist somewhere in Deltarune’s universe?
That remains unresolved by the cited official material. A character not being named in a game description or interview synopsis is not proof that the character cannot exist off-screen. Equally, the description of Deltarune as a parallel story to Undertale does not itself confirm that Frisk is part of Deltarune’s setting.

It is possible to speculate about a future appearance, but the official sources cited here make no such promise or confirmation. Toby Fox’s September 2021 update says he designed and wrote Deltarune and gave feedback on its parts; it does not address Frisk’s status.
