Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO’s first DLC, the Hero of Justice Pack, released on January 21, 2025—not next week. Bandai Namco later announced its availability for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on February 20, 2026. The pack adds fighters and other content; it is separate from the newer Super Limit-Breaking NEO expansion.
When did Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO DLC 1 release?
Bandai Namco announced the Hero of Justice Pack as DLC 1 and released it on January 21, 2025 for the platforms where the game was then available. The publisher announced Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 availability on February 20, 2026. The title’s “releases next week” wording is therefore out of date as of October 8, 2026.

Which platforms have DLC 1?
The January 2025 announcement covered the game’s then-available platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Bandai Namco later confirmed the pack for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in its February 2026 announcement. Because platform availability and entitlements can differ, check the DLC listing for the platform you use.

Do any editions or passes include the pack?
Bandai Namco’s January 2025 announcement says owners of the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, Premium Edition or the individual Season Pass (DLC 1–3) automatically receive the pack. For Nintendo players, the February 2026 announcement names the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition and individual Season Pass. Confirm the exact platform, edition and store listing before buying; the named inclusions are not identical across the two announcements.
How is DLC 1 different from Super Limit-Breaking NEO?
Super Limit-Breaking NEO is a separate, later expansion—not another name for DLC 1. Bandai Namco announced its release for July 30, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The publisher describes NEO as adding 33 characters, four Episode Battles, four stages and a new solo mode, among other content. A free update also brought additional gameplay mechanics, which should not be confused with the expansion’s paid content.

The base game and DLC 1 are separate products unless the pack is included with the edition or pass you own. Check the product page for your platform and region, and verify that the listing is specifically for the Hero of Justice Pack before purchasing. Nintendo’s US catalog lists the pack separately from the base game; its displayed price and release information are store- and region-specific, not a universal current price.
