Jenny Mod exists as a fan-made Minecraft modification: a public GitHub releases page lists Java mod files and a separate MCPE release. That confirms files bearing the name exist, but it does not establish that the mod is official Minecraft content, that a download site is creator-authorized, or that a particular file is safe.
What is Jenny Mod?
Jenny Mod is described by third-party FAQs as a fan-made Minecraft mod, not an official Mojang or Microsoft release. A GitHub releases page lists Java .jar assets labeled for Forge 1.12.2 and a separate MCPE release. This is evidence of downloadable artifacts under that name, not proof that the repository is controlled by the original creator or an authorized successor.

Several sites use “official” in their names or describe themselves as official. Those are the sites’ own claims, not independently verified provenance. The name may also appear on unrelated wrapper apps or other material, so identify any file by its platform, file type, and exact Minecraft version rather than relying on the name alone.
Which Minecraft versions and editions do the files target?
Third-party compatibility claims vary by file and should not be treated as universal specifications for everything called Jenny Mod.

- Bedrock/MCPE: The guide describes separate .mcpack and .mcaddon files for stated Bedrock version ranges, while the GitHub page lists an MCPE release. These references do not establish that every such file works with every Bedrock version.
When assessing a compatibility claim, compare the edition, exact game version, required loader, and file extension. A Java .jar and a Bedrock .mcpack or .mcaddon are not interchangeable.
Is there an official Jenny Mod website or a safe download?
The available sources do not verify a creator-controlled download source or the safety of current files. One guide says Jenny Mod is not listed on CurseForge or Modrinth and warns that purported listings may be lookalikes or repacks; the GitHub repository separately lists artifacts. Neither fact proves creator authorization.

A site’s assurance, a GitHub listing, or a commit signature is not equivalent to an independent malware scan or proof of who produced the file. Do not treat a download as official unless its ownership and provenance can be confirmed through a primary channel controlled by the creator or an authorized successor. No current file’s safety is established here.

Before installing, verify that the file matches your edition and game version and that you trust its source. The name “Jenny Mod” alone does not establish either compatibility or provenance.
