Yui’s experimental Seamless Co-op v2.0.0 announced support for a maximum of 127 players—but the creator said it had been tested only with groups of up to 15. That release also introduced PvP, PvE gauntlets and boss-rush modes. These were v2.0.0 features, not additions first made in the later v2.0.1 update.
Does Seamless Co-op really support 127 players?
That is the maximum stated in the mod’s experimental v2.0.0 announcement. Yui wrote that the release increased the player count from six to 127, while qualifying that the feature had “only been tested up to 15.” In other words, 127 is the announced supported cap—not evidence of a tested 127-player session or a guarantee that a group that large will perform reliably. Yui’s 21 May 2023 change notes provide both the cap and the test qualification.

Seamless Co-op is a PC mod that changes Elden Ring’s usual multiplayer boundaries. Its creator describes a party continuing through the game together, with synchronized progress and without the repeated summoning interruptions of the standard experience. The mod documentation’s installation path uses the PC game files and a separate launcher; the game’s publisher lists PC via Steam as a platform. What PvP, PvE and boss-rush modes were added?
The v2.0.0 announcement added activity modes accessed through shrines at Roundtable Hold and the Limgrave and Caelid arenas. The creator’s feature post describes the following options:

The announcement labels v2.0.0 experimental. Its descriptions establish that these modes were introduced in that release; they do not establish how they perform in every setup or that they were introduced again in a later maintenance update. Yui’s v2.0.0 feature post.
What is the latest Seamless Co-op version, and what about Elden Ring 1.17?
The creator’s release history lists beta v2.0.1, dated 3 September 2026, with notes about the game v1.17 update and code optimization. The corresponding Nexus file page gives an upload date of 2 September 2026. Those dates refer to different listings, so the one-day difference is not a contradiction. Nexus’s overview may still show a 2.0.0 version field; the creator’s release history and the v2.0.1 file entry are the more specific references for that release. That timing does not mean v2.0.1 introduced the 127-player cap or the new game modes: those were announced with experimental v2.0.0 in 2023. For a group, the practical compatibility rule is to use matching mod versions. The installation guide also warns that Elden Ring updates are expected to break mods until compatibility updates arrive. How do you install the mod and play with friends?
The documented setup is for PC and uses Elden Ring’s PC files. Follow the current installation guide for the supported files and setup details; the launch and joining flow it describes is:

- Install the mod and match versions. Use the installation guide for the PC files, and make sure everyone in the party is using the same mod version.
- Launch the mod. On Windows, start the game through
ersc_launcher.exe. The guide’s Linux and Steam Deck instructions use Steam’s non-Steam-game flow and a Proton compatibility selection; follow its current steps for those platforms. - Start the session. One player uses the Tiny Great Pot to host.
- Join the host. Other players use the Effigy of Malenia to join.
