How to use the Grand Lift of Dectus
- Make sure both medallion halves are in your inventory.
- Travel to the Grand Lift of Dectus at the northern end of Liurnia, north of Raya Lucaria Academy.
- Approach the statues and use the prompt to present or hoist the completed medallion.
- Let the lift carry you to Altus Plateau.
If you are unsure whether you have the right item, the Dectus Medallion item reference describes the two halves being joined to activate the lift.

Yes. From the Ravine-Veiled Village, you can climb the ravine and pass through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice to reach the plateau without collecting the halves or using the lift. This route includes a dungeon and a boss encounter, as outlined in the GamesRadar guide.
