Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteEA’s updates on Battlefield 6 app access and jump momentum were separate 2025 issues, not a new announcement in October 2026. Some EA app players had missing-content or “purchase to unlock” errors that blocked modes; EA later said it distributed rewards to affected players it identified. A separate fix addressed interrupted jump momentum with certain equipped weapons.
What happened with EA app access
Some Battlefield 6 players using the EA app encountered missing DLC or content, or errors saying content needed to be purchased or was not installed. Those errors prevented them from starting some game modes. EA said it was deploying a resolution and that players needed to restart the game for it to take effect. EA’s official forum thread records the access issue and subsequent updates.

Who EA said would receive rewards
EA communicated compensation in stages. Its updates described in-game rewards, including XP boosters, delivered through the in-game mailbox and XP Boost inventory. EA later acknowledged a rollout error: some impacted players had initially been missed. After reviewing activity during the outage window, EA said it distributed items to players it identified as missed. The update said, “No further action is needed to receive these rewards.” That statement referred to the rewards EA said it had distributed after its review; it does not establish that every player who reports missing content qualifies.
November 21, 2025: different impacts, different delivery notes
In its November 21 update, EA distinguished between players unable to access any modes and those impacted in some modes. EA said the first group had already received the content described in the original post. It also said it granted XP Tokens to players it identified as impacted in some modes, who were told to look for an in-game message in the Battlefield 6 Inbox. Eligibility depended on EA’s review and identification of impacted players.

What the jump-momentum fix addressed
A separate Battlefield Comms announcement concerned a specific movement issue: jump momentum could be unintentionally interrupted while jumping with certain weapons equipped. PC Gamer reported on October 13, 2025, that the fix announced the previous day was live across all platforms, and that its effect might appear in a player’s next fresh match. PC Gamer’s report reproduces the notice.

The announcement supports a fix for that particular jump-momentum behavior. It does not show that every movement complaint or all weapon-related movement issues were resolved. The access problem and its rewards were a separate matter from this gameplay fix.

Both items are historical updates from October and November 2025. They explain what EA said about a past access issue, reward distribution, and a specific movement fix; they do not establish that an app outage or jump-momentum glitch is currently active. For a present-day access problem, consult EA Help and check the current account, installation, and purchase details rather than assuming it is the same incident.
