What new gameplay options did EA announce?
Competitive and Authentic presets
EA describes Competitive as the more responsive, player-controlled preset, aimed mainly at online Ultimate Team and Clubs. Authentic is intended to deliver a more realistic tempo, particularly in offline modes such as Career. Changes to core play
EA’s gameplay notes describe revisions to dribbling and movement, goalkeepers, defending, passing, shooting, positioning, physicality, first touches and responsiveness. Named examples include Dynamic Dribbling, changes to movement and acceleration, goalkeeper positioning informed by machine learning, new volumetric goalkeeper animations, and revised shielding and first-touch behavior. Career: Manager Live and live starting points
EA announced Manager Live, with changing challenges and scenarios that can draw on real-world or alternative situations during a season. The feature announcement also describes Original Career and Live Start Points. EA’s feature announcement

New Archetypes are player classes inspired by notable footballers. EA says players can develop them using attributes and Archetype Perks, adding a progression framework to Clubs and Player Career.
