For Straight Record on Dam Battlegrounds, find the old EMP trap near West Broken Bridge, then use it as your reference point: the three power switches are on a rocky rise to the north/northeast, in a ruined house to the east, and along the trail south toward the Hydroponic Dome Complex. After switching them off, return to the trap and interact with it again to finish the objective.
Where to find the EMP trap
Straight Record is a quest from Celeste that follows Broken Monument. It takes place at Victory Ridge on Dam Battlegrounds. The old EMP trap is near West Broken Bridge, slightly southwest of the named Victory Ridge area and north of the Hydroponic Dome Complex. Look for a small antenna-like device and investigate it to reveal the switch objectives.
Where are the three power switches?
Once you have investigated the trap, use it as the center point for a short landmark-based route:
- North/northeast — rocky rise: Climb the nearby rocky rise and look for the flashing yellow switch.
- East — ruined house: Go to the ruined house and check its first floor or upper balcony. Debris or boxes can help you reach the balcony switch.
- South — trail toward Hydroponic Dome Complex: Follow the trail south from the trap and look for the last switch nearby. Sources describe its immediate surroundings differently, so use the southbound trail and yellow switch as your cues.
How to complete Straight Record
- Reach Victory Ridge on Dam Battlegrounds.
- Find and investigate the old EMP trap near West Broken Bridge.
- Disable the three power switches: north/northeast on the rocky rise, east at the ruined house, and south along the trail toward the Hydroponic Dome Complex.
- Return to the EMP trap and interact with it to shut it down. Wait for the final objective interaction to register before leaving the area.
Straight Record rewards
The quest listing reports five Medium Gun Parts and three Advanced Mechanical Components as rewards. It also lists binoculars and a defibrillator as granted items. Check the in-game quest screen for the current reward details if an update has changed the listing.
