EB Games Canada’s Nintendo Switch 2 launch took place on June 5, 2025. The retailer announced that 132 locations would open at midnight EDT, but some stores had early-morning hours instead. The EB Games Canada launch-location page lists the province, store, address, phone number and local event time; the launch is over, so the page is a historical schedule, not an indication of current stock or store hours.
Where to find the complete EB Games store list
Use the EB Games Canada location page to check a specific store. Its province-by-province sections cover Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Saskatchewan. The page gives each listed location’s address, phone number and event time.

EB Games said on May 28, 2025, that 132 locations would open at 12 a.m. EDT on June 5. The full page is more useful than a selection of city examples because schedules differed by store: some locations opened at midnight, while others had morning openings.
Why some listed times fall on June 4
The announced midnight opening was pegged to Eastern Daylight Time, while store listings used local time. For example, western locations could list an opening at 9:01 p.m. PT or 10:01 p.m. MT on June 4—times corresponding to midnight Eastern on June 5. Check the local time beside the exact store rather than assuming every listing says 12 a.m.

Walk-in availability was not guaranteed
EB Games said walk-in quantities would be available while supplies lasted. That meant a customer could try to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 console without a reservation, but the announcement did not guarantee a unit at every location or how long stock would last. The event has passed, and these launch notices do not establish present-day inventory.
June 4 activities were a separate, smaller event
Nintendo of Canada also announced trivia and giveaways at selected EB Games locations on the evening of June 4, 2025. Those activities were not the complete list of launch-opening stores. Nintendo’s notice listed local activity start times of 8 p.m. MT in Alberta, 7 p.m. PT in British Columbia, 10 p.m. ET in Ontario and Quebec, and 9 p.m. CT in Manitoba; activities and giveaways were available while supplies lasted. EB Games also announced a Mario Kart World activation on Crescent Street during Montreal’s Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival race weekend. It was a separate event from the store-opening schedule.

In its May 28, 2025 announcement, EB Games President Jim Tyo said the company would open 132 locations at 12 a.m. EDT for the June 5 release. The announcement also described EB Games as having over 185 stores across Canada at that time; that is the company’s 2025 figure, not a current store count.
