What is Star Wars Zero Company?
Developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, Star Wars Zero Company tells an original story during the twilight of the Clone Wars. Republic Intelligence recruits Hawks, a former Republic officer, to lead an unconventional team against the Infinite Coil and its leader, Kundri Fathom, before the Shadow Plague threatens the galaxy. EA’s announcement and StarWars.com’s reveal feature describe the premise.
The game is designed around squad tactics rather than real-time action. In combat, you plan actions and positioning for your operators, then manage the consequences as the operation unfolds. Between missions, The Den serves as the team’s base, where you can gather intelligence and prepare for upcoming operations. EA describes the campaign as involving missions and investigations across the galaxy.
Customize Hawks and build squad synergies
You can create and customize Hawks, recruit operators, and tailor characters’ appearances, loadouts, abilities, classes, and species. Developing bonds between squadmates unlocks combat synergies, giving team composition a role beyond choosing individual weapons or skills.

The official reveal feature places The Den on the Ring of Kafrene and names Serolonis, Vandor, and Mapuzo among the worlds visited. These are official reveal details, not evidence of a particular mission count or the full list of locations.
Release date, platforms, and multiplayer
EA lists the worldwide release date as August 27, 2026, and said the game was available in its August 28 launch post. The platforms are PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Zero Company is single-player only: EA says it has no online or local co-op and no competitive multiplayer. An internet connection may still be needed for downloading, updates, or platform-specific features.
PC system requirements
EA’s listed minimum and recommended PC specifications are below. Both require 50 GB of available storage and DirectX 12. EA cautions that meeting the minimum does not guarantee smooth performance at every setting; it also advises Intel Arc users to enable Resizable BAR for improved FPS.

Editions and physical copies
Standard and Deluxe both include the base game. Deluxe adds cosmetic content and weapon themes. EA’s August 2026 launch announcement lists Digital Deluxe suggested retail prices (SRP) of $59.99 on PC and $69.99 on consoles; those are publisher-listed launch SRPs, not a check of current retailer prices.

Campaign length and prior Star Wars knowledge
EA estimates the main story takes around 30 to 40 hours for most players; actual time varies with difficulty and experience with turn-based tactics. The publisher says the story is original and does not require having played another Star Wars game first. These details appear in EA’s game guide.
