Deluxe Edition
Bethesda’s Deluxe Edition description includes the base game, both story expansions, and the additional DLC: Fighter’s Stronghold, Spell Tomes, Vile Lair, Mehrune’s Razor, The Thieves Den, Wizard’s Tower, The Orrery and Horse Armor Pack. It also lists new quests for unique Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon armor, weapons and horse armor sets, plus a digital artbook and soundtrack app. Bethesda notes a platform-availability qualification for the digital extras; they should not be mistaken for separate physical items.
The product page presents both editions, but the descriptions available here do not establish a full item-by-item comparison of everything included in Standard versus Deluxe. Check the edition details shown for your region before purchase.

What control options does Switch 2 support?
Bethesda Game Studios says players in docked or tabletop mode can use traditional controls or choose Joy-Con 2 motion controls, mouse controls or touchscreen controls. Motion control is optional, not a requirement.
With motion controls enabled, a horizontal swing of the right Joy-Con 2 performs a standard attack, while a vertical swing performs a power attack. Motion inputs on the left controller can cast spells, draw or sheath a weapon, block and enter stealth. Bethesda says players can swap which Joy-Con handles the motion inputs.

Is the Switch 2 version physical or digital?
The format is not fully established across regions. Bethesda’s February announcement described a digital launch and a physical code-in-box edition planned for a later date. Its product page now labels a physical cartridge, but also shows a physical-edition news listing dated 13 October 2026—after the date of this article. Those details do not confirm which formats are orderable or in stock in a particular territory as of 8 October 2026.
Before buying, check the local Nintendo or retailer listing for the edition, territory, format and current availability. Do not assume that a physical listing means the same packaging or stock is available everywhere.
