Where to find Fang Ling
The arena is in Cloudspire – Bride’s Boudoir. From the shrine, follow the route to the elevator and wooden bridge. Stepping onto the bridge drops you into the arena. The PowerPyx boss walkthrough advises completing NPC interactions in Cloudspire before defeating Fang Ling.
What to prepare for
Fang Ling is the Perfect Bride, a spectral bride affected by Feathering who blends graceful melee with magic. Xbox Wire’s April 30, 2025 feature describes her as “Once a symbol of hope, she now haunts the land as a spectral bride twisted by Feathering, wielding deadly grace and devastating magic against all who cross her path.”
The encounter has two full health bars. The first phase uses sword attacks and spells; after transforming, Fang Ling adopts a substantially different moveset. PowerPyx recommends armor with slash and stab resistance for the first phase and some Feathering defense against her magic. These are that walkthrough’s preparation suggestions, not mandatory thresholds or requirements.

How to fight Fang Ling
Phase one: sword and spells
Focus on reading her rhythm and taking measured openings rather than pressing attacks. PowerPyx identifies the jump-spin and a stab followed by a grapple as especially dangerous sequences. Be ready to evade rather than assume a punish is safe after every attack.
One approach suggested by the walkthrough is an axe with Clash skills and Leech tempering. Time a charged heavy attack into one of her sword attacks, then follow up; Leech can recover some health. This setup depends on having and being comfortable with those skills. It is not a required build.

Phase two: transformed form
After the transformation, prioritize avoiding repeated rushes and close-range attacks. Look for casting animations as your best reported punish windows: the head laser leaves Fang Ling exposed, as do the falling red rocks. Move to her side or rear during those openings to attack.
Do not treat her non-weapon melee attacks as Clash opportunities. If you are using the axe-and-Leech approach, the walkthrough recommends reapplying Leech. Otherwise, the safer plan is to keep space through her attacks and commit when a spell leaves her vulnerable.
