What does “unlocked via the Ringside Pass” mean?
The four are premium-track rewards, not characters granted just for owning or starting the base game. Steam says Season 1 Premium lets players earn them. In practice, premium-pass access and progression through the track are distinct: owning the premium track gives access to its rewards, while play-earned RXP advances tiers and makes rewards unlockable.
2K says the Ringside Pass Premium replaces the previous DLC model and provides playable characters unavailable on the base-game roster. The pass system has six planned seasons, each with 40 free tiers and 40 premium tiers. Each track has its own rewards, so not every wrestler or reward is necessarily premium; 2K’s Season 1 announcement also describes unlockable wrestlers and legends on the free tier.

How do you progress through the pass?
RXP, or Ringside XP, is earned by playing supported modes while online. The official WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass FAQ, published February 23 and updated July 8, 2026, lists important exclusions:
- Online lobbies do not earn RXP.
- Matches with two or more local players, and matches with friends through platform services, do not earn RXP.
- Simulated or AI-only matches do not earn RXP.
- Matches quit or disconnected before completion do not earn RXP.
- Matches played partly or wholly offline do not earn RXP, subject to the FAQ’s stated Universe Watch Mode exception.
Premium-track buyers can choose to purchase tier skips, but the FAQ also says rewards can continue to be earned through play without additional purchases. Tier skips are optional, not a requirement for progression.

When were the six seasons scheduled?
The schedule below is the one in 2K Support’s FAQ, updated July 8, 2026. Since that schedule dates from 2026, these are published season dates, not an upcoming timetable.

Does the WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass expire?
No. According to the official FAQ, a new season does not expire an older pass. You can pause progression on one pass to work on another, then return to the earlier pass later.

How the pass and game purchase fit together
The Ringside Pass is additional digital content; it is not the base game. If you do not own WWE 2K26, the official support FAQ confirms that physical and digital versions of the game are available. The pass itself is sold as digital DLC, including through Steam. Check the relevant platform’s current listing for availability and terms.
