Then compare your PC with the game’s listed requirements, try only low-risk checks that fit your storefront, and contact WB Games if the problem remains. The available official information does not establish one guaranteed fix for every launch failure.
Pin down when and where the failure happens
Before changing settings, write down whether you installed the game through Steam, Epic, or another source, and what happens after you try to launch it. Does nothing appear, does the game close at a splash screen, does an error message appear, or does it crash only after you reach gameplay? If there is an error, capture its exact wording.
This distinction helps you choose the right storefront’s support guidance and gives WB Games a useful description if you need to escalate. The official sources available for this title list system requirements and support options, but do not identify a single confirmed cause or universal repair for PC startup crashes.
Check your PC against the Steam requirements
Steam’s listing specifies the following minimum and recommended configurations. These are a compatibility reference, not a diagnosis of a particular crash; compare the full set of components rather than relying on just one specification.

Steam’s game listing is the source for these specifications. Check the current listing for your region and storefront, since the table reflects the Steam listing reviewed here. Meeting the listed requirements does not by itself establish what is causing a launch problem.
Try cautious checks that match your storefront
If you use Steam
Open Steam’s current support flow for the game and follow its in-client guidance for file or launch issues. The Steam listing links to a game-specific technical support page. Keep the troubleshooting within Steam’s instructions; do not assume Steam steps apply to an Epic or other installation.

If the game reaches its menus
Only if you can get into the game, you can try changing the display mode to windowed as a reversible display adjustment. WB Games documents PC window mode in its accessibility information. That documentation does not say window mode repairs launch failures, and the option is not available when the game cannot open at all.
Avoid risky or unsupported fixes
Do not delete save files, modify game-folder files, edit the Windows registry, or download third-party DLLs as a first response. The official information cited here does not establish these actions as fixes for this title. Nor do the listed requirements alone prove that a hardware upgrade is needed.
