Is Football Manager 26 back after FM25?
Yes. SEGA announced FM26 after the cancellation of Football Manager 25; TechRadar described the new game as the franchise’s return following that cancellation. The August teaser was the first public signal of the series’ return, not a trailer for an already-released game. TechRadar’s report

The announcement teaser left major details open. SEGA’s later feature material elaborated on the game’s systems and editions, and subsequent launch information supplied availability and storefront details. The official launch page gives November 4, 2025, as the release date; SEGA Japan lists November 5 for its Japanese platform releases. The sources do not explain the date difference. The official Football Manager launch page says the game launched from November 4, 2025. SEGA Japan lists November 5, 2025, for its Japanese platform releases. Because the official sources give different dates without explaining why, use the date relevant to the market and edition rather than treating one date as universal. What platforms is Football Manager 26 on?
