What is Fortnite: Shock ’N Awesome?
Shock ’N Awesome is the name of Fortnite Battle Royale’s Chapter 6 Season 4. Its central premise is an insect infestation across the Island, with players joining the O.X.R., described by Epic as the Island’s anti-bug military defense force. The official season announcement called the Island “an absolute mess of goopy nests and egg sacs.” Epic’s season announcement also identifies The Hive as a new point of interest.
The trailer listing calls it “the buggiest season yet” and highlights swarming bugs, nests and egg sacs. That wording is promotional framing; the infestation and O.X.R. are the season’s game-world setup.
