Flydigi’s APEX 4 Black Myth: Wukong is a co-branded controller built around the company’s force-adjustable alloy joystick. Flydigi advertises a 2000 Hz polling rate and support for PC, Nintendo Switch, TV, Android, iOS and laptops, but explicitly excludes Xbox and PlayStation. Those are manufacturer-listed specifications and compatibility claims, not independently verified test results.
What is the APEX 4 Black Myth: Wukong controller?
It is Flydigi’s Black Myth: Wukong edition of the APEX 4 multi-platform gaming controller. The edition pairs the game’s branding with the APEX 4 design and a joystick Flydigi says lets players adjust operating tension. Flydigi’s edition listing describes the controller’s features and package contents.
The manufacturer calls the stick a “World’s First Alloy Joystick with Adjustable Tension” and says it offers “seamless force adjustment, strong recenter without drift, ultra-smooth pushing without friction.” These are Flydigi’s product claims; the available sources do not provide independent measurements of drift, friction, latency or durability.
What does the adjustable-tension joystick do?
The idea is to let the player change how much force the stick takes to move, rather than use one fixed tension. Flydigi describes the mechanism as an independently developed, force-adjustable alloy joystick. The product page also promotes customized anti-slip joystick caps, but does not establish how the adjustment behaves in a measured comparison or which setting is best for a particular game.

Advertised features and standard APEX 4 comparison
The Black Myth edition’s specifications should not be conflated with the standard APEX 4 listing: Flydigi gives the edition a 2000 Hz polling-rate specification and the standard listing a 1000 Hz specification. Both are vendor-listed figures, not independent latency results.
| Listing | Polling rate shown | Platforms listed | Distinguishing details |
|---|---|---|---|
| APEX 4 Black Myth: Wukong edition | 2000 Hz, wired and wireless, according to Flydigi’s edition page | PC, Nintendo Switch, TV, Android, iOS and laptop; Xbox and PlayStation are excluded by Flydigi | Black Myth co-branding; force-adjustable alloy joystick; included receiver and adjustment paddle |
| Standard APEX 4 | 1000 Hz, according to Flydigi’s standard product page | PC, Nintendo Switch, TV, Android and laptop; Xbox and PlayStation are excluded by Flydigi | Related standard APEX 4 listing; do not assume the edition’s iOS listing or package details apply |
Flydigi also lists a magnetic cover, armored chassis, magnesium-aluminum D-pad, four rear buttons and four-motor vibration for the Black Myth edition. Its page presents these as product features, not results of a comparative test. The manufacturer’s standard APEX 4 listing is a separate specification page.

Which platforms does it support?
Flydigi lists PC, Nintendo Switch, TV, Android, iOS and laptop support for the Black Myth edition, and says it does not support Xbox or PlayStation. Compatibility labels do not guarantee that every game, connection method or device configuration will work. Before buying, check the controller’s connection options against your device and the game you intend to play.
