Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3: Super launched with update v36.00 on June 7, 2025. Epic scheduled the preceding Death Star Sabotage live event for 2:00 PM ET that day, then began v36.00 maintenance at 2:30 PM EDT. The countdown has expired; maintenance was recorded as complete at 6:46 PM EDT, but Epic’s status record does not establish the exact time Super became playable for every player.
When did Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3: Super come out?
Epic’s v36.00 release notes date Chapter 6 Season 3: Super to June 7, 2025. Nintendo’s June 16, 2025 coverage also identifies Super as Fortnite BR Chapter 6 Season 3.
That date can be confusing because an earlier countdown article used “Chapter 6 Season 3” for the May 2, 2025 Galactic Battle update. That was an early, conflicting label and forecast—not the release date of Super. Galactic Battle was concluding on June 7 with Death Star Sabotage; Super followed with v36.00.
What time was the event and update maintenance?
These were separate milestones, not one shared “launch time.” Epic’s event announcement scheduled Death Star Sabotage for 2:00 PM ET on June 7. Epic’s status history records v36.00 maintenance beginning at 18:30 UTC (2:30 PM EDT) and completing at 22:46 UTC (6:46 PM EDT).

Epic’s status history gives an official maintenance-completion marker, not a universal playable-at time. It does not establish precisely when access was restored for all players.
Is the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 countdown over?
Yes. The June 7, 2025 release date has passed, so there is no live countdown to Super’s launch. The date to use for Chapter 6 Season 3: Super is June 7—not the May 2 date attached to the earlier Galactic Battle label.

How can you check the date of a future Fortnite season?
For a future season, check the Battle Pass page and the in-game Battle Pass tab, then confirm schedule updates through Epic’s official channels. Epic Games Player Support says, “You can also see the current season’s end date in the Battle Pass tab in-game,” and cautions that unforeseen factors can change a season’s end date.
